The Early YearsAutomotive
Ford Motor Company + General Motors
I built the foundation of my career in Detroit's automotive industry, working across Ford Motor Company and General Motors, including Chevrolet, Buick, GMC, and Cadillac.
Through roles at GTB (formerly Team Detroit), Epsilon, and Martin Retail Group, I gained firsthand experience managing complex accounts, navigating large organizations, and bringing together teams across project management, product marketing, strategy, creative, media, analytics, and client leadership.
My work spanned digital experiences, CRM, customer loyalty, and regional marketing, giving me an understanding of how global brands connect with customers at every stage of ownership.
Automotive taught me how to manage competing priorities, build trust with stakeholders, and deliver in an environment where timelines are tight, expectations are high, and relationships matter.
Those lessons have stayed with me throughout my career.
Retail
Nordstrom, Lucky Brand + Moosejaw
Before building my career in corporate marketing and client leadership, I gained a different perspective on business through retail.
At Nordstrom, I earned a fashion and management internship that introduced me to the operational side of retail, merchandising, and the importance of delivering an exceptional customer experience.
At Lucky Brand, I worked with visual merchandising and store displays, translating corporate brand direction into an in-store experience.
And at Moosejaw, I had the opportunity to connect directly with customers and participate in vendor events alongside brand representatives, gaining exposure to the relationships behind the products.
Each experience helped shape my appreciation for brand consistency, customer behavior, and the details that influence how people experience a business. More importantly, they taught me that strong brands are built just as much through people and experiences as they are through marketing.
